findagrave is compiled by volunteers. They cannot just go through other people's books and websites to make the additions. Volunteers must enter them individually. I have entered most of my family graves that I am certain about. I have even had to add some cemeteries that had never been listed. In our little town in Montana, we have 2 cemeteries which I added with photos of some of the graves. I occasionally go out and take photos of the older graves to add--even though none are related to me. It is a great site. They allow you to add photos of the grave, the person, the cemetery. They also allow a small biography. Another good feature is that my email is associated with each of my entries. If some distant relative finds a grave I listed, that person can contact me easily. I encourage everyone to add their family graves. Honey
