    3. Appeared in the Independent Appeal Newspaper, Wed., Nov. 2, 2005 DOMINIC MICHAEL CONGIARDO, age 54, of Jackson, TN, passed away on Oct. 24, 2005, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was a professional musician and a member of the Catholic Church Mr. Congiardo was preceded in death by his mother Josephine Saverino Congiardo. He is survived by his father, Frank Congiardo, Sr. of Jackson; his former spouse, Kathy Collins of Southaven, MS; one daughter, Crystal Congiardo of Horn Lake, MS; one son, Michael Congiardo of Foley, AL; one sister Theresa Stover and husband Greg of Medon, TN; one brother, Frank Congiardo and wife Pat of Selmer, TN; and one half-brother Sam Congiardo of Jackson. Private graveside services were at 3 p.m. on Wed., Oct 26th, in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Ramer, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer were in charge of the arrangements. .............. MARY NELL JOHNSON REYNOLDS, age 79 of Ramer, TN, passed away on Oct. 30, 2005, at McNairy County Health Care Center. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her parents, Marley Andrew and Laura Mae Teague; her husband, William Cletis Reynolds; three sisters, Dorothy Plunk, Marlene Mathis, and Gerlene Stanford; and three brothers, Preston Johnson, Estel Johnson, and George Johnson. She is survived by five daughters, Martha Nell Hardin and Debbie Jernigan of Selmer, TN, and Loretta Petty, Andrea Griswell, and Sherry Poindexter of Ramer; twelve grandchildren and fourteen gr-grandchildren. Services were at 1 p.m. on Tues., Nov. 1st, in the Shackelford Chapel in Selmer with Joy Foster officiating. Burial followed in Friendship Cemetery in Ramer. Pallbearers were Todd Petty, Shane Griswell, Matt Griswell, Jason Bolen, Morris Reynolds, Don Reynolds, Dennis Biggs, and Jim Wilkes. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer were in charge of the arrangements. .............. DEREK ALLEN PICKETT, age 24 of Finger, TN, passed away on Oct. 28, 2005, at McNairy Regional Hospital. He was a welder, an avid Sportsman, and a member of the Sanford Hill Baptist Church of Henderson, TN. Mr. Pickett was preceded in death by his grandfather, J. C. Pickett. He is survived by his parents, Benny and Denise Jenkins Pickett of Finger; grandparents Doyle Jenkins of Ft. Pierce, Fl, Shirley Rowe Forbus of Adamsville, TN; his ex-wife, Casey Pickett of Eastview, TN; and one daughter, Mallory Victoria Pickett of Eastview. Services were at 1:30 p.m. on Sun., Oct. 30th, in the Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with burial in Sweet Lips Cemetery in Henderson. Pallbearers were Clint Hutcherson, Joey Lambert, Jason, Hurd, Brandon Hill, Brandon Lambert, Matthew Lipford, John Verrell, Johnathan Ward, Michael Frank and Justin Wicker. BARBARA INEZ ROGERS HORTON, age 85 of Selmer, TN, passed away on Oct. 28, 2005, at McNairy Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Franklin Rogers, and Edith Rogers; two sisters, Sestelee and Bernice Rogers; and one brother, Frankie Don Rogers. She is survived by her husband, Ervin A. Horton of Counce; one daughter, Sharon Horton of Santa Ana, CA; four sons, Del Horton and wife China of Michie, TN, Gary Horton of Counce, TN, Roland Horton and wife Terry, and Jeff Horton and wife Laura, all of Santa Ana, CA.; one sister, Sue Rogers; thirteen grandchildren and eight gr-grandchildren. Graveside services were at 1 p.m. on Tues., Nov. 1st, at Emmanuel Tabernacle Holiness Church Cemetery in Stantonville, TN with Earl Wayne Day officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer were in charge of the arrangements. .............. JOHN "BIG A" Anthony Melson, age 30, of Milledgeville, TN, passed away on Oct. 27, 2005 in Milledgeville. He was a logger, a member of the Selmer Moose Lodge, "Freecycle", and loved computers, R. C. cars and riding 4-wheelers. Mr. Melson is survived by his mother, Barbara English Melson of Savannah, TN; his step-father, James Montgomery of Savannah; his father, John Larry Melson of Savannah; his wife, April Kelley Melson; one daughter, Savannah Melson; one son, Johnathan Melson; and one sister Jennifer Ann Melson of Florence, AL. Services were at 3 p.m. on Mon., Oct. 31st in the Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with burial in Wesley's Chapel Cemetery in Hardin County.
