Appeared in the Independent Appeal Newspaper Wed., Dec. 14, 2005 PHILLIP LYNN MULDER, age 47, of Stantonville, TN passed away on Dec. 7, 2005, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was a member of West Shiloh Baptist Church, and a logger and truck driver. Mr. Mulder was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Marie Mulder. He is survived by his father, Willis Earl Mulder of Stantonville; his former wife, Mary Ellen Rice Thomas of Taylor, MI; two sons, Phillip Earl Mulder and Michael William Rice, both of Taylor, MI; one sister Sandra Cromwell of Savannah, TN; and two brothers, Bobby Mulder of Savannah and Dennis Mulder of Cookeville, TN. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 10th, in the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Davidson officiating. Burial Followed in West Shiloh Cemetery in Stantonville. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer were in charge of the arrangements. .............. ELMER CLAY SHELTON, age 80, of Ramer, TN passed away on Dec. 10, 2005, at his residence. He was a farmer, sawmill worker, and a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his parents, John G. and Ethel Clara Bell Shelton; his wife, Dorothy Shelton; one brother, Leslie Clarence Shelton; and one son, Richard Devers. He is survived by four daughters, Julia Steward and Shelia Howell, both of Chewalla, Patricia Butler of Guys, TN, Loretta Crum of Corinth, MS; two sons, Ronnie and Keith Shelton, both of Chewalla; four sisters, Mattie Whitaker of Michie, TN, Edith McClain of Holly Spring, MS, and Johnnie Rushing and Metra King, both of Southaven, MS; three brothers, Willie Shelton of Ramer, and Grover Shelton of Norco, CA; eight grandchildren and fifteen gr-grandchildren. Services were at 1:30 p.m. on Mon., Dec. 12th, in the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Doyle officiating. Burial Followed in Henry Cemetery in Corinth, MS. "JIMMY" LOFTON, age 60, of Walnut, MS, died Dec. 1, 2005, in Raymond, MS The husband of Brenda LaQuita Cox Lofton, who survives, he worked in aviation research and development. Mr. Lofton was born Apr. 6, 1945 in Clarksdale, MS, son of the late Morris and Eula Mae Haley Lofton. He was raided in Middleton, TN and lived in Memphis, TN for several years before returning to Walnut, MS to make his home in 1973. Mr. Lofton was a 31-year charter member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was a continual witness for the Lord. He was active in children's and prison ministries and founded the aviation ministry "Wings for Christ" in 1978. Mr. Lofton knew people all over the world from his aviation missions. He flew supplies and work teams in to build orphanages and schools and helped missionaries move in and out of the field Services were at 11 a.m. on Fri., Dec. 9th, at Calvary Baptist Church with John Hunter and Shane Scott officiating. In addition to his wife, whom he married in 1965, he is survived by one daughter, Leah Lofton Everett and her husband, Les of Ramer, TN; one son, James Lofton, Jr. of Middleton; two brothers, John Edward Lofton of Walnut, and Otis Henry of Somerville, TN and his wife and daughter, Lynn and Emily; one grandchild, Ericka Shawn King; mother-in-law, Juantia Cox of Middleton; brother-in-law, Jackie Cox and his wife and daughters, Cathy, Andrea, Layne and Courtney. INETHA PLUNK HUDSON ROACH, of Reagan, TN, was born in McNairy County Tennessee, on June 10, 1923, the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Lessie Meldred Browder Plunk. She was united in marriage to Taft Hudson and Lonnie Roach, both of whom have preceded her in death. ...Mrs. Roach worked for various factories. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and a member of the Red Hat Club. She departed this life on Dec. 6, 2005, at the Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, TN at the age of 82. Mrs. Roach is survived by two daughters, Karen Woodard of Reagan and Jimmie Tucker of Enville, TN; five sons, Kenneth Hudson of Sardis, TN, Larry Hudson of Reagan, W. T. Hudson of Adamsville, Jerry Hudson of Beech Bluff, TN, and Dwight Hudson of Lexington, TN; three step-sons, James Roach of Reagan, and Ted and Frank Roach of Enville; one sister Vinnie Zachary of Middleton, TN; twenty-five grandchildren and fifty-two gr-grandchildren. Services were held on Thurs., Dec 8th, at 1 p.m., in the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Savannah, TN with Jerry Gibbs and Lonnie Tucker officiating. Burial Followed in Union Hill Cemetery. KATHLEEN DANCER TEAGUE, age 88, of Bartlett, TN and formerly of Ramer, TN, passed away on Dec. 9, 2005, at Kings, Daughters & Sons Nursing Home in Bartlett. She was a member of the Bartlett Baptist Church and a book-binder for Austin Hennon Book Bindery. Mrs. Teague was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ira Smith Dancer; her husband, Buford L. Teague; three sisters, Susie Prather, Mary Nell Payne, and Gladys Kinchen; and three brothers, Loffie Dancer, Lloyd Dancer, and Lyde Dancer. She is survived by one sister Essie Hill of Barlett. Services were at 11 a.m. on Mon., Dec. 12th, at Memphis Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Priest officiating. Burial Followed in Ramer Cemetery in Ramer, TN.
