She was a registered nurse and a member of Union Grove Methodist Church, a member of Selmer Home Distribution Club and a member of the Argonaut Book Club of Selmer. Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by her father, William Musselwhite, and a brother, Charles Musselwhite. She is survived by her mother, Nina Stophel Musselwhite of Selmer; her husband, Robert K. Beck; one daughter, Lora Jean Gowan of Memphis; one son, David Beck of Boston, MA; and four grandchildren. Services were Fri., Jan. 21st, at 11 a.m. at Union Grove United Methodist Church with Bro. Mrs. Abbott was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Abbott, her father, Wesley House, her mother, Nettie Morrow House, one sister, Alma Piercey, and two brothers, Samuel House and Troy House. She leaves behind one sister, Thelma Brown of West Memphis, AR; three brothers, Bobby House of Middleton, Floyd House of Memphis, and Herchel House of West Memphis; five nieces, seven nephews, twelve gr-nieces and four gr-nephews.
