I have several questions/inquiries, & hope you can help me. John Henry Dennis's wife Emelia or "Milly" died 1844 in McNairy Co. They resided in the Purdy community. Are there any record of this or where she is buired. John Henry Dennis married a Mrs. Deliah Thomas 1845, McNairy Co. Tn. Are there a record of that? A burial record in what cemetery.? John served time from 1838-1841 according to state prison records....for what?? He owned a farm 9 mi. noth of Purdy. Are there any Dennis families left in McNairy County? I was wondering if there are any connection to the Dennis families in Hardin County? Maybe there are some distant relatives spun from this Dennis family that might know some of these answers. Also, does McNairy have a cemetery list that might possibably list any Dennis buried in McNairy Co.? I would appreciate any help or refrence you can give me.
