Hello Nancy, It is nice to meet new "kin-folks." My Great-Great-Grandfather Henry Raiford Sharp's brother John Arthur Sharp married Ann Mansfield Wardlow in 1827. Family notes indicate that "He (John) was murdered by the Yankees while returning home from a business trip to Alabama."
