Eli was in AR by 1850...maybe before...I am doing this by memory......Eli then moved to TEXAS....as did a lot of other BYNUMS and PITTS. I do know that Kinchen ROSS either married a BYNUM or some of his children did.......and thus several of the BYNUMs were named Kinchen Ross BYNUM.....one of Eli's son's was so named.....and.......there was another Kinchen Ross BYNUM who fought in the Civil War at same time as my William BYNUM in AR..........who was also born in McNairy Co. TN. Our Kinchen R. moved to CA and married a GLOUNER woman......the other one married a woman by the last name of TERRY.....they also moved to TX....then back to Van BUREN County, AR. Some of the BYNUMS and PITTS spent some time as well in IL and MO. Good Luck Judie Names I am researching: HUGHES,DEARING,TELAAR,BYERS,PENNINGTON,PETERS, HOUNSHELL,FLY/FLYTHE,PITTS,BYNUM,RISSE,HURT,PITTS,MATHEWS/MATTHEWS,LEWIS,GREEN ........
