I have no info of significance....but do know that the ROSS name was connected to the BYNUMS and PITTS who were in the areas you mentioned and ended up in AR and OK....In AR they were in the Franklin/Johnson/Logan/Crawford/Washington Counties area........ you might check a connection there.....My Bynum was born in McNairy....and he had a relative named Kinchen Ross BYNUM born there as well....that moved to AR.
