Gina - Interestingly enough, I was looking at the 1860 and 1870 McNairy Co. census records yesterday for my Moore family research and saw the Gooch surname several times. I'll be reviewing the films again today. I have seen a CD index for 1870 TN. I read Rick's message that he would check his records. Rich
