Hello. I am looking for information on my great-grandmother Eliza A. James who married Henry Eugene Kiser. Eliza was living with Katherine Mosier in 1870. Does anyone have any information on the Mosier family? Why would Eliza be living with her? Was Katherine's husband Anderson Mosier dead? We find Eliza on the 1870 census of McNairy Co. with Kate, but no husband, and on the 1880 census with children, but still no mention of a husband. Henry was supposed to have died in 1884 or so, but we have no records on him. Eliza took the 3 younger children and went to Massac Co., Ill. Has anyone ever heard of an Adeline Kiser, Eliza's daughter? We have no record of her, either, but she was married before 1900, but where? Any help would be appreciated.
