    3. Robert Wall: Jane WARDLOW FARRIS SINGLETON was a sister to my gg grandfather John WARDLOW. Their parents were Charles and Sarah/Sally THOMAS WARDLOW. The only thing I have on her is the list of children from both marriages. I do not have parents listed for Samuel SINGLETON. I would be most interested in the descendants of Jane. Will share what I have on Jane if interested. Pat Robert L. Wall wrote: > Samuel Singleton Married Jane Wardlow Farris about 1859. They show on the > 1860 McNairy Co. census. 3. Dear Ella, William Buck Roach was a constable in McNairy County and this is his Day Book with his entries. There are several names--seems they were pretty busy collecting a dollar to sometimes forty, fifty dollars. I hope someday to go through the transcription and compare to the spellings in a McNairy census for 1850 and 1860--but if I run across a Rufus Smith, I will try to remember to let you know. Best wishes with your hunting, Sarah ---MRS ELLA R HAUSER NEE RYMAN <BJZX36A@prodigy.com> wrote: > > Thanks, Sarah. I just subscribed to the List. 3. Searching for information on the parents and siblings of GEORGE REAVES/REEVES who was born about 1818 in NC or TN depending on which census you see. There were two Reaves head of households (John & Thomas) in the 1830 census of McNairy Co and both had a young male George's age in their listing. George must have married in McNairy Co TN because his bride Mary 'Polly' Saunders was living there with her family by 1830. George and Mary are in the 1850 McNairy Co census with daughters Nancy Elizabeth b. 1845 and Mary Caroline b. 1847. The daughter most important to me, Ellen Julia, was born in 1854.
