>From my experience (and this is not a slam on Geocities), it may very well be Geocities that is doing it. I have 48 MB of RAM on my computer but many, MANY times I try to access a Geocities site, my computer will freeze of Netscape will quit unexpectedly. Their pop-up ads are a nuisance and that's usually when my 'puter goes wacky. I don't know for sure if that's the real cause but it NEVER happens unless I'm at a Geocities site. Of course sometimes I get lucky and everything works just fine - it depends on the content also. Good luck!! Seeking info. on Martha Ann Hicks, born 1825 in NC., died in the 1890's. She marrid William HAMMONS/HAMMOND abt 1862. There were 2 daughters born: Callie abt 1863 and she married Nicholas WOLFE on 4 May 1879 in McNairy Co. Sallie born 1866, she went to TX and married James MONEY. I think maybe Martha Ann was married to a MITCHELL before marrying William HAMMOND. William had family in Madison Co. TN. I have no leads on the parent of Martha, any help will be appreciated. Pat
