She retired as a nursing assistant 14 years ago from the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Then she returned to her home in McNairy County in 1995. She loved cats, flowers, word puzzles, the color red and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her first husband John Alton Teague and her second husband Prentiss Wolfe. Also preceding her in death were her parents, brother, Jesse Lloyd Swain, and sisters, Verlee Smith, Opal Whitaker, and Ilene Taylor. She died of a heart attack. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Henderson. She was born and reared near Finger, McNairy County, daughter of the late H. Frank and Virginia Smith Tedford. She attended schools in McNairy County, and in 1930 was married to Albert Edward Weaver of Finger. They made their home in Finger where Mr. Weaver operated a general merchandise and appliance business until 1961. He later operated a laundromat in Henderson and was also a farmer. Mr. Weaver died in 1992. Mrs. Weaver made her home in Selmer near her daughter for the past 5 years. Services took place at 11 a.m. on Fri., Nov. 5, at Casey Funeral Home with burial at Chester County Memory Gardens. Officiating the services were Rev. Thomas Robinson and Rev. Howard Ketter. Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Edward Weaver and her parents, H. Frank and Virginia Smith Tedford. He was employed by Owen's Corning in Jackson for 14 years and for the past 10 years he was employed by the TN Highway Dept. In Bethel Springs as a Road Inspector. Services took place on Fri.
