I found a Delos Strickland in the Social Security Death Index. He was born 10/17/1905 and died in October 1975. He died in Etowah, McMinn County, TN. I have an ancestor by the name of Delos Strickland born about 1817 that I'm trying to find. Since this isn't a very common name (or at least it isn't to me) I thought maybe this Delos was related to my line. I think his parents were Daniel Strickland and Esther Case but so far I haven't been able to document that. If anyone knows about this family I would really appreciate hearing from you.
