FYI, if anyone is researching the drawn-out resolution of the estate of Alexander Casteel (1800-1862), I transcribed the entire procceedings several years ago, and a copy is in the library in Athens, as well as a copy with the Historical Society. When we were in Athens a few years ago, we were grateful to the employees at the courthouse, and, in particular, we were impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of mr.
