Can someone tell me exactly what Chancery Records involved? Thanks.

Transcripts of the proceedings during court cases heard in Chancery Court. These links DO NOT have the court records themselves available. What it does have is a listing of people involved in each individual case. In order to get a transcript you would need to contact McMinn Historical Society. Mr. Rex Moses is president. He may be willing to photo copy the case for you if it isn't too long. Some are many pages long and too numerous to copy.
