    3. Is there a book or list of all the cemeteries in McMinn Co.? I am interested in where a Emily Casey was buried in 1847-1848 . My Casey research only says the family lived near Athens. Know Dempsey Casey bought land from a Dr. Farmer in 1837 in town. Casey family left in 1849. 1. [MCMINN] McMinn Cemetery Book
    2. Volchek
    3. Yes, there is a McMinn Cemetery Book compiled by Marvin and Samme Templin. The information is also online. You can order the book and access the online information from the McMinn County Genweb website. http://www.rootsweb.com/~tnmcminn/ Bear in mind that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of unmarked graves. And no records were kept. Or if they were, they're gone now. So, just because the person you're looking for doesn't show up, doesn't mean they are there. Jean K.
