Could your Elisha be the one born circa 1800 to John and Nancy WILSON VANZANDT? I don't have a marriage for this Elisha, so I don't know if he married Ellender LEE. According to what I have been told, though, his brother, Isaiah, married Ailcy LEE, and his brother Ezekial married Malinda LEE. This information came from other members of a WILSON discussion group, and I'll send your question on to that group. 236 3-Nancy WILSON (1776-aft 1834) 237 sp: John VANZANDT (1771-abt 1832) 238 4-John VANZANDT (1798-) 239 sp: Sarah UNKNOWN (1804-) 238-1 5- Isaiah VANZANDT (1825-1863) 238-2 5- John VANZANDT (1831) 238-3 5- Mary VANZANDT (1835) 238-4 5- Isbell VANZANDT (1837) 238-5 5- Emeline VANZANDT (1838) 119 4-Isaiah VANZANDT (1799-bef 1860) 118 sp: Ailcy LEE (1805-aft 1860) 118-1 5- Parrizeda VANZANDT (1826-1898) 118-2 5- John G VANZANDT (1828) 118-2S1 sp: Elizabeth Brown (1831-) 118-2-1 6- Napoleon V. No, our Elijah is Elijah Cloer. I do not know of any Vanzants married into our line. However it seems I've seen this name before; I just can't remember where. Do you for a fact that they were in McMinn Co? And if so have you tried researching their censuses which they have online? Or posting on the Bradley & Polk Counties email list also OR on their site. Most families moved back and forth between these counties. Sorry I can't help. Bernice Raymond.
