This is the only William Smith that we have in our Smith tree so far. He was our G-Grandfather. He died in Polk County & is buried in Cumberland Shed Cemetery. This does not match the one you describe as having died in 1829. The counties are so close a person could have lived in one and buried in another. An example is my G-Aunt who lives just a few miles from Mount Hermon Cemetery but she's just over the border of Polk County. So when she's buried she will be buried at Mount Hermon which is in Bradley Co, and have lived in Polk.
