Surnames: Hayes, Roberts Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/0hB.2ACI/314 Message Board Post: Does anyone have any information on a Joel/Jack/Jackson (he went by all 3 names) Hayes who married a Sarah Jane Roberts in Maury County in 1870? He and Sarah also show up on the 1870 Maury County census in District 11 household 69/72. I found him in the 1880-1930 Lawrence Co., TN census. In 1900 they have his parents birthplace as Unknown. In 1910 & 1920 they have them being born in TN and in 1930 they have them as being born in South Carolina. Anyone have any ideas??
