Hi Phillip, Cool! Perhaps we are connected. When were your Greens and Normans in Maury Co.? My Josiah Green married Fanny Norman in Maury Co. in 1823. They were both supposedly born in TN in 1801. It's like they were space aliens just dropped into TN. I can't find anything about either of them regarding their siblings or ancestors. There are other Green and Norman families there. I just can't find these particular grandparents and where they fit. Do you happen to have any information on them? They had five children - John Newton (b. 1824), Eliza, William, Josiah S., and George. I know that they and at least part of their children migrated to IL around 1850. Do any of these names sound familiar to you? Who are your Greens and Normans? I hope we can help each other. Since these families were both in the same area, there very well could be a connection.
