I don't know much about my Kennedy family ... only that a daughter of John P. Cathey married Alexander Kennedy ... Just recently I was told that Alexander Kennedy's father was Andrew Kennedy who was the first person to commit suicide in Maury Co. Alexander Kennedy & wife - M. Elizabeth Cathey's - daughter married my James Erwin - But I don't have any information & proof of James Erwin's parents. John P. Cathey's wife was Mary Erwin - but I do not have any information at all on her parents either. I would like to know more about her ERWIN family - it may be that it connects with my Alexander S. Erwin and my James Erwin who married. The children of these two Erwins intermarried - were they first cousins or distant cousins? I don't know the answer to that.
