I had given up on anyone responding but for some reason today I decided to do a search and found your reply. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I agree with you about Bird & Snow being family names. When I told family members his name was Bird Snow Hale they laughed and couldn't believe it. With a name like that I thought it would be easy to track him down - WRONG. I have (13) all the issues of THE DELTA from the Mississippi County Historical and Genealogy Society. My husband, Dennis, has scanned them into our computers and if you don't have them I will send them to you. Do you know if the Society is still operating? I am a member but haven't gotten a publication for well over a year. I will send you my line of the Hale's and look forward to getting any information you have. I am a 3rd great granddaughter of Bird Snow and Martha Dyer Hale. My husband and I have made several trips to Osceola and Blytheville to do family research.
