Greetings Maury County List, The Web Site Cemeteries of Maury County has undergone a major expansion since last mentioned on this list. Several Cemeteries have been added. There are now about 2,200 photos and 2,500 writings of inscriptions of various cemeteries and memorials in Maury County Tennessee. A search engine is there allowing one to quickly determine if there is a burial of interest on the site. However it is limited to 1,000 files and may not be comprehensive. Use that at your own risk. Suzanne Davison has joined our team and has done an outstanding job of photographing and listing Wilks-Campground Cemetery. That project is largely done for the main section and is now underway for the integrated section. It is over 450 photos now and when complete will be in excess of 600 memorials. This Cemetery site now covers about 3% of all the marked graves of the county and as much as 7% of all the graves prior to 1940. That is significant considering there is a photo of each tombstone where we could get it.
