Well, it's time for my semi-annual message. Is anyone researching the family of John Shelton, and James R Shelton, tailors, who lived in Columbia, Tenn. Early to late 1800s? John died in 1835. His son, James R.Shelton married an Alderson. Another son was named Colin. I'd like to know what became of their families, and what John's wife Elizabeth's maiden name was. Thanks Alex in MO.
