Doris, I maybe guessing on this one, but this sounds like my husband's side of the family. We visited a Watkins family in Hot Springs, NC. In his line he has a James Monroe Bell who died in Cocke Co. TN. I believe this Watkins line was kin to Roberts...does this sound familiar. Pat
