Everyone go see the move "Gods and Generals". Support this movie so we might see others. Being a lover of genealogy and history, and see that it would only be positive I would like to recommend the movie "Gods and Generals". I do realize this is not the environment to post such a message, however when it has to do with history, and peoples ancestry, like mine, I think we should promote it. Now, I realize it may not be the best movie every filmed, however, the movie does try to stay close to the accuracy of history (not so of most Hollywood films.) . It may be a little long, but there are some great scenes. It is wholesome, morally straight. In response to the violent nature of the film. If you are worried about a quizzey stomach not to worry if you saw Glory, Patriot, or Gettysburg this will not be as objectable. The battle of Fredericksburg is a little intense, but nothing in comparison to other movies that have come out. The interesting thing is that the liberal! media is having a field day with this movie, they seem to not get enough blood and gore, bad relationships between man and wife, sexual content, etc... this movie literally upsets them to see something like "Gods and Generals", seeing that it is more historically accurate than most movies produced these days.
