    3. To all who want to be released I say I am sorry. You just might miss some important news down the road. I for one have found many good contacts about the area. Gary Hood has helped so much with the Hanks, Dodson, and other names I am related to. What a shame to give up something that brings you closer to a possible answer. Let me start the road back. Has anyone done DNA on the Hanks family (Moses and Elijah) that are buried in Knob Hill Cemetery to see if we are indeed related to Abe Lincoln. There are so many stories and so many that want to claim him surely someone has tried to find a true answer through DNA. My line goes from: Agatha and Moses Hanks to Elizabeth Hanks and Robert Williams to Agatha Williams and James Wolverton to Nancy Artemesia Wolverton and Luther Rice Littlefield. The story goes that my grandfather John Monroe Littlefield remembers his father and mother (great grandfather Luther and great grandmother Artemesia) walking back and forth through their field in McNairy Co Tenn after Abe Lincoln was shot because he was more than just a President. His mother was said to be Artemesia's grandmother's first cousin. When the artist painted the picture of Nancy Hanks Lincoln that is sold at the Abe Lincoln place in KY they used many of the pictures of my grandmother and her daughters. One is a true likeness of Abe Lincoln. Any thoughts on this? Ann Littlefield Coleman
