    3. Is anyone doing research on the McCormick family. My gggrandfather is John Thomas (1869-1935) who married Ellen Bailey in 1887. I am only guessing that JT's father was Crett or Critt because the only census I can find to fit with JT before he married was 1870. If I could get a will or land info that would connect JT to a family member it would be very helpful. Any suggestions?     3. I will start researching J. T. I have him in my family tree as son of Palestine Crett McCormick and Mary Daniels. They were married in Lawrence County, Tennessee. I have not followed J. T. yet. I believe Crett's second wife to be Josie Seaton, but not positive of this. I do have a marriage license from Maury County for a P. C. McCormick married to a J. A. Seaton in the correct time frame.
