Sorry gang about being so late in getting back to this topic. My mother got very ill and entered the hospital right after I posted about the books. She is still in the hospital and will remain there until at least next weekend. So I am very far behind. So if you have sent a request and have not heard from me that is the reason. Some of you have asked about the surnames. I do not have a complete listing of surnames but here is what I can tell you as far as surnames go. In the picture book there is no prinicipal surname and no actual genealogy data at all. The book is a collection of pictures from various spots around Maury County and some of the classes of the Hay Long High School from various years. In the Sandy Hook book the main surnames are Attkisson, Bassham, Duke, Pickard, Lasley, Kennedy, Lindsey, Workman, Pugh, Crowley, Chavers and a few others. It is a book about families who lived in the areas of Rockdale, Sandy Hook, Pugh Town, and Sheepneck. I have not looked at one of the Hugh Cooper books in quite a few years, but the book is principally about the Cooper family who migrated to Tennessee from Fishing Creek area of South Carolina. Hope this helps. I will try to get all the e-mails about this answered as soon as possible.
