TN REVIEW: 1805-1905 Dear List, Does anybody on the list have access to this book? It has info on many families, and I am seeking info on a couple of them. Would anybody be willing to do lookups if you have the book? 3. Hello, Wayne, Is this one of the history books that contains family stories written by the people of the county or is it one which contains actual historical facts and not just biographies? I am researching the family of Denson Aaron Moore who murdered his son on the family farm in Maury County in 1855. I have the transcripts from his trial but we never knew what happened to him after that. In the past year, I located a newspaper article in which a $500 reward was offered for Denson and two other men who escaped from the Maury County Jail. Sometimes in census records and school records, the family name is recorded as Moon instead of Moore. Denson was married to Margarette "Peggy" Cook. I would appreciate your sharing any information you find. Sincerely, Mary C.
