Looking for descendants or information about the following people who married in Maury County. Claiborne Kersey - Mary Whitted 9 June 1846 Joseph Whitted - Mary Jackson 15 Mar 1850 William Skinner - Elanor Whitted 6 Apr 1848 John Whitted - Mary Johnson 25 Nov 1849 I have information about Levi Whitted who married Elizabeth Evans and James Whitted who married Elizabeth Hawks, if anyone is interested in those. DAvid, I don't know about any of the others but I know that there are quite a few of the Kersey descendants still in town here. The preacher at Main Street Church of Christ is a descendant. I think his dad was also named Claiborne Kersey. His sister is married to one of the elders at the church too. Their mother still attends the Spencer Hill Church of Christ - many of the Kerseys are buried in the cemetery at Spencer Hill - which you probably already know. I am sure there are others here but those are the only ones I am familiar with at this time. Rick, thanks for your reply on the Kerseys. Looks like the ones buried at Spenser Hill are later than 1900. David
