I have reason t believ they were in Maury CO. abt early 1800's. I have a George FITZGERALD with wife Anna Butler. They were from Elbert, GA. George dishared from Rev. war in TN Searching for his parents and siblings. I believe these are all names of his children; Davis (m'd HENRY), Wilson (m'd Polly Winters), John (m'd Sally Mercer), Nancy (m'd PHELPS), Rhody (m'd DAMRON), Sarah, Tini, & Patric. The family (George & Anna, and Davis) did move on to KY early 1820. To Hopkins, Calloway & Muhlenberg CO's. Then on to Hamilton CO., IL 1829. Then on to IA 1850. Any and all help appreciated.
