    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: TODD, McKISSICK Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/0hB.2ACI/572.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Phyllis. Mostly just Census data. What I have so far is that there was a 9-yr old Mary J. Todd living with Pleasant Todd (69, NC) and Charity Todd (71, VA) living in Mt. Pleasant, Maury Co, TN in 1860. A 19-yr old Mary Todd living with the Robt. McKissick family in Culleoka, Maury Co, Tn, in 1870, occupation not noted (18-yr old William B. is living a few doors down with his father Robert Durham). By 1880, Mary J. and William B. are married and in Lawrence, TN next door to Robt. Durham. In 1900, they are in Hardin Co, TN. I have a marriage license on order from Maury Co, but until I see it, I can’t say anything about it other than it is for William Durham and Mary Todd, supposedly dated in 1870. Odd facts which may or may not be connected: there are other Todd children scattered among several different families in Maury County, including a very young female infant listed as M E Todd living with a motley crew of what appears to be unrelated persons and no o! bvious parents in 1850. Then there is the family legend about a Cherokee child being left behind during the Trail of Tears, which should be taken with several grains of salt until there is some proof…what do you have so far?
