Joyce, the Witherspoons migrated from VA to KY to Maury County with the Hanks, Dodsons, and others. Some of them stayed in KY, some moved to other places. Robert B Allen was born in Maury County. His father was William Allen, from NC. His mother was Nancy Unknnown, William Allen's 2nd wife. Robert Allen married Elizabeth Jane Hanks 20 Aug 1845.
