    3. My Allens all came form NC and settled at Double Branches. The Allens out Sanny Fee and Knob creek way were from VA. There were some more that lived in the southern county and in the east, but I can't make any connection. I'll send you info on mine in a minute.

    3. Gary, You have done a fantastic job on your ALLEN family, I am in process of reading and I have so much on a John ALLEN that it gives me chills. There were many John and Robert ALLENS in all the ALLEN lines. Far as I have been able to find, my family came from S.C., N.C., Alabama, and TN., The Robert ALLIN in Granville ALLENS' book was from Ireland b. 1674, he came to U.S. 1690 on the "Charles" . apprenticed to a cabinet maker in Charles county, MD., I believe he had sons named Thomas. These ALLENS have an Allen Park in Alabama and used to have family reunions every year. You are probably aquainted with this book. Thank you so much, joyce Gary Hood <garyhood@egyptian.net> wrote: My Allens all came form NC and settled at Double Branches. The Allens out Sanny Fee and Knob creek way were from VA.
