William Grisham (Grissom), b. 28 Aug 1799 in NC, d. 20 Jul 1893 in Maury county TN. When William died there was an article in the Columbia newspaper, stating he was the oldest person in the county. William Grisham/Gresham/Grissom was my gggg grandfather. William was the son of George Gresham b 1772 in VA William was married twice 1st marriage before 1822 to Nancy ? 2nd marriage before 1870 to Nancy ? William and Nancy I had 4 children James, Kiziah, Isaac, and unnamed female born 1822-1827. William and Nancy II had 3 children N. Colista, William B, George H born 1870-1874.
