    3. I can't prove it, but the gentleman on the top right, sitting alone, looks a lot like the one and only picture of my Gr.Grandfather, James Henry Anderson b. 30 August 1842 in Maury Co. and died 12 January 1915 in Choctaw, Arkansas. He was in CSA Co. G, 1st infantry, Field's regiment. We will probably never know for sure, but it is a possiblilty. What a great picture! Thanks for sharing. I remember the picture appeared on the Maury site several years ago, then disappeared. Okay, the lines drawn to the feet are the same one we guessed to be Bluford Hanks Fitzgerald. We must have been wrong. Please do tell me the positions of the other 7. My goal is to put names to each and every one of these fine gentlemen. My g-granpaw should be in it somewhere. I sent a printed copy to my sister in Columbia to take to our Aunt who remembers him. You consider it a family treasure; I consider it of National value. Now I can identify where it was taken, from what you said, and put a name to the owner of the picture. I don't live near Columbia. I live in IL. I was born and raised in Maury, though. ==== TNMAURY Mailing List ==== Researching the following Maury County surnames: BINKLEY - BOOKER - CASKEY - CRAIG - CRAWFORD - CREWS - DABBS - DANIELS - DEMASTUS - DIAL - DILLEHAY - DODSON - DOOLEY - DUGGER - HARDISON - JETER - KENNON - LEWIS - MACK - MAYSE - MILES - MITCHELL - MURPHY - OLIVER - PARK - PARRISH - RIEVES - ROOK - WELLS - demastus@aol.com ============================== Search Family and Local Histories for stories about your family and the areas they lived. 3. Tell you what, if you can send me a copy of James Henry Anderson's picture I'll put it up and see what folks think about the resemblance. Meanwhile, that's one vote for that being him. Thank you.
