If you look in the book "A History of Hickman County, Tennessee" by Spence. Current copies are published by Southern Historical Press. This book has a lot about John Gordon, Dollie Cross Gordon, Bolling Gordon, Powhatten Gordon, & Louisa Pocahontas Gordon. As you can see from the names of the children the Gordon's claimed to be decended from Powhatten & Pacahontas. Lousa Pocahontas Godon married the Confederate General Felix K. Zollicoffer. One of their decendants has traced their accestry to Pocahontas. The LDS Library has the book.
