Dear Linda, The Gordons were prominent people in the Maury/Hickman county area during the nineteenth century. John and Doreatha Gordon were the parents of a number of children, many of which are buried in Maury County cemeteries. But, William, I do not find. Could he have moved to some other place? His parent's graves were moved from a little grave- yard almost on the Maury/Hickman county line to Rose Hill here in Columbia. But no William. Hope you can "dig him up" somewhere else. Lottaluck.
