Looking for parents of William Jackson (Jack) Craig, born 1818 Maury Co.; moved to Giles Co. c. 1840, where he died 1884. He was married first to Susannah Johnson (Johnston); 2nd to Virginia B. Abernathy in 1850. I have found no proof, but believe his father was William Craig, who was given 213 acres on Carters Creek by Ezekiel Polk in 1807. This William Craig died 1830 in Maury Co. I believe he came to TN from Mecklenburg Co., N.C. along with Polks, Campbells, Lattas. Ruth Cunningham
