My name is David Allen, I live in Mountain Home, Arkansas. I'm trying to put together a family history of the Allen family for my father. I have run into a road block with my gggGrandparents. Their names are: Zachariah and Francis Allen. I believe that they may have been married in Maury Co. ,Tennessee around 1820's. I'm trying to find Francis's maiden name, and the names of their parents, and hopefully where they came from. They had at least one child while in Maury Co., William Blackford Ward Allen was born on July 24, 1820. If you could also give me some information on how to find birth records for Maury County, I know that they moved to Hamilton Co. IL in 1828 with 5 children, this according to the Hamilton Co. 1830 census. Any help at all, that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Dave allens@centuryinter.net
