John B. "Bird" FITZGERALD, b. 28 Jan 1785, Halifax County, VA, son of Christopher and Elizabeth (DOUGLAS) FITZGERALD. John married 2 Oct 1809 in Maury Co., TN to Nancy HANKS, b. 5 Jan 1795, Halifax Co., VA, daughter of George and Lurane (HILL) HANKS. I am looking for any information on the death records of JOHN BIRD, family folklore and available records only show the John Bird died about 1840, but there is one small note that says he is buried in the FITZGERALD Cemetery, Maury Co., we know that he was dead before 1848, can any one tell us where these records might be located and where is the FITZGERALD Cemetery?
