I have a Joel Harris , who was a methodist Minister in Hardeman, Ct. 1820's-1850's, He was from North Carolinia , Edgecomb Ct. His daughter Anna Harris married my gggrandfather James M Bogard, Does your Harris Line tie in or is there any knnown connection to your line to Joel, I noticed a Toombs in your Subject Line, don't know of any Toombs , but their is a town called Toombs in Hardeman Ct. also Joel and his family along with several other Harris families are written up in the Hardeman Ct. Historical Sketches, which you can maybe find some connections with, Looks like many of the Hardeman early settlers came from Middle Tennesse and North Cartolinia areas.
