(Believe a few of our ancestors paved a way for us) I am also thinking of the families who have been left behind, may they find some peace in knowing "we do care". This is Christmas for me -"giving thanks" we are still standing as a democracy. I'm sorry I've offended anyone. These courageous men and women are on someones family tree! >> I didn't comment on this earlier because I didn't want to veer off topic, but I have to say "amen" to the above. Also, let's not forget to pray for those innocent civilians who may be killed or injured in Iraq. I heard yesterday how they will whisper to Americans in Iraq that they are not happy with their leadership, but they live under conditions where there is little they can do about it. And let's also pray for the leadership of our country, both in the White House and in the Congress, during these "interesting" times. (Back when Nixon first initated relations with China, the press was fond of reminding us that there is an old Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times.")
