Hi, I suspect that this problem deserves a high profile among genealogists. During genealogy is a lot like doing a term paper, where sources must be cited. Putting information up on the web is in effect publishing it. Taking the work of others, without acknowledging its source, as if it were your own, is against the law. Whether primary sources, like public legal records, or secondary, like e-mail messages from another genealogist, sources must be acknowledged.
