Back in the 1970's there was a Mrs. Raymond Crow of Beaumont Texasdoing reserch on her Hillhouse Ross Mitchell Sharp families they were from Giles and Lawrence Co Tn and settled in Hickory, Dallas and Laclede Counties in Mo. There are still Crowe or Crow in the telephione directory for this area in Hickory and Dallas Co. The local water Patrolman name was Crow in 1980's Maybe this will give you some clues
