I have to agree with Janis. I am very pleased to have my family's history on the Web. I have never come across anyone who wanted to restrict access to their genealogy, although I understand that someone who makes a living with this would feel pretty proprietary about their data. I don't understand the mentality of anyone who wants to "hoard" their data; I would think they would be more than pleased to share it with anyone who is taking the time and effort to research their family. HOWEVER, if anyone ever asks me NOT to use anything they send me, I certainly will respect their wishes...but I sure won't understand why they feel that way. OK, there's my 2 cents worth. Monty
