James Albert Scott, my grandmother's first cousin, was born 16 April 1895, probably in Maury Co., and died probably after 1970. He was the son of James Edward Scott, b. 13 November 1859 probably in Coffee County, TN, d.13 May 1922 in Mt. Pleasant, TN, and Cynthia Emma Blackburn, b. 24 January 1864 in Coffee County, TN, d. 28 February 1920 in Mt. Pleasant, TN. James Albert Scott married Lillie Clark, dates unknown, on 28 Feb. 1915. They were the parents of two surviving children, Leland and Rachel. My grandmother always said that Lillie Clark Scott was also related to her, but she never told me how.
