Cindy, I don't think anyone is talking about picking up a few bits and pieces here and there from different people. I think we are talking about picking up an entire line, or several generations, and putting them out on the web as your own verified work. This is often done without any sources or attributions. On my own website, even though I have tried to do very careful research, I have a big red box on each page that says "NOTE: While the research presented on this site is accurate to the best of my knowledge, some of it is necessarily speculation or "best guess." Please remember that no research taken from the internet should be accepted as authentic until you have backed it up with your own solid research and documentation."
